Dear Paterson Families,

Welcome to the 2026 to 2027 school year!

We are excited to welcome our students and families back to Paterson. As we begin a new year together, one of our priorities is building strong relationships and maintaining clear, respectful communication between our school and families.

Good communication goes both ways. We want you to reach out when you have questions, concerns, or something you would like us to know. We also want to establish a few simple communication expectations so we can communicate consistently and everyone knows what to expect.

Email and ParentSquare

Staff will make every effort to respond to emails and ParentSquare messages within 24 to 48 hours, or one to two school days, during the regular school week.

Please remember that teachers spend most of their day teaching and working directly with students. They may not be able to check or respond to messages immediately during instructional time.

Urgent or Same Day Messages

For an urgent or time sensitive need, please contact the school office directly rather than relying on email or ParentSquare.

Please contact our Administrative Assistant, Yesenia Ibarra, (509) 875-2601 so we can make sure your message is received and addressed promptly.

This is especially important for same day transportation changes, student pick up information, or another issue requiring immediate attention.

Working Together

If you have a concern involving your child, we encourage you to begin by communicating directly with your child's teacher. Most questions and concerns can be resolved quickly when we communicate early and work together.
Our goal is simple: communicate openly, assume positive intent, address concerns early, and keep students at the center of our conversations.
