"It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves" -William Shakespeare
ABOUT ME: I was born and raised in Page, Arizona. I attended Brigham Young University where I met my husband and earned my degree in Math Education. I taught algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus at Page High School for three years, then took a break to raise our one and only daughter. She also graduated from BYU and is a nurse in Austin, Texas. I was a substitute teacher in the Prosser School District for 13 years before returning full-time to teaching at Paterson. I currently teach the amazing 5th grade class for all subjects except science. I also teach the Algebra 1 class for 14 future calculus students. I believe in setting the expectations high, making use of every minute in class, and helping each student to reach their individual potential.
